Our Criteria

The licensed premises are generally historically or architecturally interesting and they are set in pleasant surroundings. Gardens are well cared for and ample parking space is available close to hand.

Internally the premises have a welcoming ambience although they all have their own essentially unique character.

The bars offer a wide variety of beers, ales, spirits and other beverages in pleasant, clean and well maintained areas.

Where food is available it is properly served in an appropriate place and is of high quality and good value.

Many of the selected Pubs have beautifully appointed letting rooms available for their guests at varying rates.
